Shaker Hood Trim Ring Question
« on: January 04, 2006 - 12:35:03 AM »
Is the trim ring on the shaker hood the same for Cuda's and Challenger's - '70 &'71? If not, what is the difference? Thanks for the help.

Cudas VS Challengers are different, both years are the same for each model.  Hoods have a slightly different profile.

The Challenger has a wide bodyline down the middle of the hood, and the Cuda has a narrow one,and the point of the ring is made to match the bodyline of each hood!

I agree, Cuda & Challenger trim rings are unique.

The Challenger Under Hood Bracing is also different (although some sellers of reproduction hoods and parts will tell you otherwise).

The Cuda Under Brace will work on a Challenger hood with some modification, but they will never appear correct.
