:iagree:  Thanks for sharing those gruesome photos with us, Lumpy.  Those poor, poor E-bodies cut up like that. :'(  I need to get out to the west coast again and check for some old iron in the yards.  I remember stopping at some gas station probably 6-8 years ago (family trip) and seeing some bizzare looking old car sitting behind an 8 foot fence. (somewhere near the redwood forest in Oregon.)  I think that's where the addiction started...

That's a good idea SC73, you just plopped a thought into my head.......

If everyone got a junker like the ones above and put them in their yard to hopefully restore, they still have a better chance there than in the yards above. Even if you don't touch them at your place, they still had a chance.

yep, at least these are for sale!!! If you look close, there is some decent sheet metal on some of them. Here are some pics of some cars for sale in Kansas that I saw on the way down to AZ. '41 Willys P'up is an ex-gasser, '65 Tempest 4 door for $1,800.00

Thanks Guys, The pics were taken last week. After our frame inspection on Friday, they are ready to start insulation and sheetrock. Scheduled close date will be around the first of April. When I was down there the temps were in the upper 70's. One of my hobbies is real estate, and it just doesn't get any better than Sahuarita, Arizona!!! The local housing market here in central Iowa is all but dead, we will be lucky to break even on our 4 bdr, split in a nice N'hood. >:(
