It actually helped me get a date.. Sr year I had a 71 barracuda 318.. noth'n special. Well, one day after school.. the battery was dead.. and this cute redhead.. gave me a jump.. 

She was actually a mopar girl herself. She had a duster. She was beautiful and very smart.. good times.

My wife has said if she knew i was into Mopars as much as I am, she would not have gone out with me. We've been married 25 years this July, and now she comes home and tells me about Mopars she sees and finds leads for cars for me.

I guess you could say shes a convert to the Mopar way. Drives a 2000 Intrepid R/T as an everyday car, and a 91 Stealth TT as a "fun" car.  I'm working on getting her into a musclecar...someday!

I'm workin on that. But honestly a car never has helped me with the women, I rely solely on my exceptional good looks and charming personality.

Unfortunately my wife's very hectic work schedule has her working most weekends
We work opposing shifts which is great for child care but sucks when it comes time for doing things together on weekends like going to cars shows etc. I don't think the wife's R/T has been to a car show in over 10 years now
We do find time to spend with each other during the week but not much is happening as far as car shows then.
Hopefully in the next few years our schedules will become more co-ordinated and our kids will become more self sufficient, then we plan on attending some car events. We're looking forward to driving into a show with twin his and her plum crazy R/T Challengers
I usually respond to these posts while I'm at work, like right now,(I'm a fireman) which is usually the quietest time of my day.
My wife is home chasing the kids around, and doing work related stuff that she brings home, she rarely has the time to get on the internet.
We feel fortunate that we have the old Mopars we do with current prices going through the roof, we know that our time to get them out and enjoy them is coming sooner or later...hopfully before we end up in a nursing home.
