Steel Rallyes for a 74 Cuda?
« on: November 08, 2006 - 12:04:34 PM »
First off, I read the sticky at the top of the forum but I am still unsure about what to put on my 74 Cuda.  It has factory disc brakes on the front of it and it has a dana 60 rear end out back that was originally under a 70 or 71 Challenger.  I want to run an 8" rim out back so would a 15x8 with a 5x4.5 bolt circle and a 4.5" back spacing be right for me?  Would a 15x7,5x4.5 bolt circle with a 4.5" back spacing work best on the front since it has disc brakes or would a 4" back spacing work better?  As far as tire sizes go, most people I've seen have been running 275s out back an 235s up front.  I just don't want any scrubbing issues.   :clueless:

Yes.  Depending on what tire size you want, a 15x7 wheel with the same dimensions would be fine, too.  235/60 or smaller, go with 15x7, bigger than 235/60, go with the 15x8.
