AM 8-track e-body

Can someone tell me if the outer 2 small speakers work on 8-track only?  3 speaker dash with rear speaker control I can't get the two front little speakers to work on AM & I don't have a 8-track tape to try.

Yes, the speakers should work with both the radio an 8-track player. These little guys on the ends of the dash are only 3" wide, so they dry rot quite easily. My guess is that's what happened to yours. I'm still surprised the center speaker in your dash works.

They were changed. I'm wondering if the crossover is bad?

I've got one of those AM 8-track players.  I thought I'd put it in and hide the cd player, but the new head unit fit right in without cutting so its just sitting on the shelf looking good.

I have a different question.  I also have a 3-speaker dash with the AM 8-track, but the AM/8-track is broken.  I'd like to keep it because I am a nerd and I think it would be neat to have.  Anyone know where I could get it fixed?
