M/T Tunnel Brace
« on: February 15, 2006 - 10:32:47 PM »
I cut out my tunnel correctly to fit in the new 4-spd tunnel i have, but the crossmember that goes underneath it is just open from the top to have water/mud etc to just run down in it and rust out, was there a plate covering the top of the crossmember or is it just open? :dunno:

Dude, you can put a cover over it if you want, but i know on my 69 and 68 the crossmember is open on top and there is no cover. Personally i would pour some por15 in there and let it coat the sides of that rail so it is protected and call it a day.
