I have just installed a new front sway bar and when I looked at where it passes thru the K member, it seems to be touching the K member. Is there suppose to be a gap betwen them?

On both of my cars the sway bar clears the K member, so I think that is how it should be. Your mounting brackets may need some spacers.

it should clear & not touch, possibly you have the wrong bushings or the mounts are install wrong , not sure
