Newbie here: Just bought one!
« on: February 23, 2006 - 04:27:16 PM »
Hello all!

Last month I picked up a white 74 Barracuda with a 318. It has the cowl type hood, black stripes.  Build sheet was in the car and everything checked out.  Long story on how I came to purchase this car but I lucked out on it, bought it off of the original female owner.  It is not currently running, but everything is there it has just suffered from being parked for a while.  It needs very minor sheet metal work and a good painting as far as cosmetics go.  Just wanted to introduce myself and ask where everyone prefers to get parts from?

Welcome.... please post some pictures!
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Welcome to the site! There's a good post under " Parts for sale " regarding a good list of suppliers / vendors for all us nutcases here. Definitely worth looking at. Word of advice here, though - stay away from Jim's Auto Parts - lot of members have sad tales to tell about dealings with that company :swear:. Don't think I'll get any disagreements about that either. Also, :useless:

Thanks for joining and let's see some pictures. The rules here are pretty clean cut however teasing without pictures can get you in a lot of trouble.
