Hey guys, after reading some of the posts about this topic with extremely high lifting cams, what do you think is possible with about a .484* or bigger, if tolerable, lift cam turning in my 318? I haven't started any engine work with it yet, but I'm planning on having a slightly warm engine under the hood. Details like an Edelbrock 625 cfm carb., a MP dual plane manifold, about a .484* lift cam, forged pistons, and I'm thinking of seeing what 2.02/1.60 valves would be like in the 318. How do these kinds of modifications effect the power brake booster's vacuum? If anybody has stuck with the power brakes after a similar build-up, how do you like them? What things should I consider when it comes time to build-up my engine as far as my approach to the internals? Please let me know any ideas you guys can think of, since I have never built an engine before. (Plenty of small engines though:))
