I have to agree with you about the rear suspension of the car. I got my car down to a consistent 1.7 sec 60 ft time. The car runs 12.5 all day. Although I do run a snubber, One day I ran 12.5's four runs in a row without varying. Ranging from a 12.52 to a 12.58. No suspension tuning. Just good old leaf springs. I watch the poor guys with four links beat their heads against the walls for consistency. When you braket race consistency is key. Nice looking car. I really like the hood on the cuda. Is that a challenger hood or did they put those on cudas too?

Ha, ha, ha! It is great when the guys with the big-bucks suspensions come to my pit and ask to look under the rearend. They just can't believe a leafspring car can hook like that. Good 'ol Chrysler engineering!

No, it's a Cuda hood. It's a fiberglass job from MAS Performance Parts in St. Paul, MN. They have loads of Mopar fiberglass including bumpers. It comes in gel coat so you have to paint it your own color. Thanks for the compliments.

Welcome to the Forums! Beautiful Car you have there, very beastly indeed!  :burnout:

Mankato you say? I have family there! Or at least, just outside, in Goodthunder. It seems rare to find car people around South Central Minnesota. They all seem to be farmers, and interested in Fishing haha.

Anyway, Welcome! Hope to see you around.
