1972 340 cuda, help me with price please.
« on: March 05, 2006 - 11:19:47 AM »
Hello havent been on here in a while but spring is near and im back to searching for a cuda. I have found one now that i really like but dont know truly what its worth so heres the details:

-1972 BS23 car
-340 motor (original block, also has all the stock motor parts)
-AAR heads
-Edelbrock high rise polished intake
-Edelbrock carb
-Edelbrack air filter
-Edelbrock vavle covers
-Hooker or TTI headers
-Chrome alternator
-Fireball ignition
-435hp
-4 speed tranny
-Rallye guages
-Black interior
-Black longitinal stripe
-Original or NOS Vitamin C paint

The car itself is in mint condition, when he put it into storage for the winter the only things i could find wrong is the clutch linkage broke on his way to storage the the Left rear outside tailight was out so the car overall is in great shape im just wondering what would a good price for me to pay for it.

Thank you for any help,

jaret

Well without pics and if you say it's mint other than those couple things . . . then I would go with 20-25K.  I've seen a few 72-74 cuda's with prices up to 50k but most sell in the 20's.  JMO

I would say low $20,000's but if you want it you may end up paying a little more. I would not go more than $24,000 as I think right now people are trying to get more out of them than they are worth.

I hate gauging without pics.... but this sounds like it is definitely worth 20K+. It's all a matter of how far of that"+" you want to get into.
