Joe & DTG, Thanks
If I could I would move far south , Ilove the heat & desert ,we get approx 90 days of summer between frost , winter just drags on forever  I would never go north of South Carolina either If I had that choice available
Have fun working on your cars I can help with knowledge at least

You know all these people that say its not hot in Arizona because of the low humidity?  Well dont you believe them, because I rode across Arizona a few years ago on a motorcycle, & I thought I was going to die of a heat stroke before I got out of there.  It must have been 110 in the shade, & the only shade was under a rock.   We didnt have much summer in Va either, after the several months long monsoons.  I only rode my mc about 3 times this year.  Didnt get much done on the cars either, because when it was not pouring down like crazy, it was the aforementioned 100+ in the garage.  Oh well, you cant have everything can you?    Ovmf

The dry heat thing is a relative, compared to the surface of the sun its cool,  you get used to it and everyone has ac, and misters.

well, it was only 78 here in central Va today, & clear & sunny.  It's supposed to be that way until at least Sunday I think.  I know I will enjoy it.  Eat you hearts out folks!!!!!      Ovmf

My house made without any real problems.. but a big tree (about 80 ft. tall) fell on a house about a mile from me. I finally got power back to my house yesterday (been out since thursday) -everything in the fridge had to get tossed... Most people didnt have work last thursday and friday ... i didnt have work monday either.. some people are still without power and could be until sunday. Origunally, the power company's estimate was that 700,000 people in MD, DC & No. VA were out of power and so far they've restored about 600,000... Lots of trees and debris everywhere... PLaces on the water like annapolis and fell's point got it much worse though..
