Yes I know Snapon is good stuff, but worth the price?I have turned wrenches for a living when i was in my twenties(20 years ago),never bought snapon, couldnt afford them at the time, but I can say the countless craftsmen tools and others i have bought...........Still have most of them and have never ever broke one.Still have most of the tools i bought 20 years ago, except for the ones I lost when moving ect,so where's the value when they never brake? Will snapon replace a lost tool?Still I dont think I have ever lost enuf to make up for the MUCH higher price.

Christmas 2004, Red got me a set of Craftsman laser etched sockets (easier reading on these 40 something eyes!)  I've already broken 2 of them!! I don't know whether the laser etching does something to the integrity of the socket or craftsmen quality is declining...

I've used Craftsman tools for 40+ years, now granted I don't used them everyday or even 40 hours a week. But I have cracked two sockets in that time which both were replaced and I was never asked how I had used them. Both times I was using a breaker bar and a little friendly persuader called a cheater pipe say about 3 feet long. And the one time when I was removing a lug nut from a dual axle truck I was standing and bouncing on the cheater. D@mn cheap tools,  :roflsmiley:  :roflsmiley:
