  I knew if I used that as the subject, all you guys would look.  SOOOO now that I have your attention, since I'm doing all this work on the front end of my Challenger, and where I live there's an issue with driving in the evening and getting BUGS all over the front end and in the radiator, I was just wondering if any of you use a front end protector when driving to and from events?  (I hate calling them BRAs).  If so how does it fit? Where do you get them?

 my front end supporter experience was not good. Had a 83 Z28 & added a LeBra. After one good road trip the grit that found it's way under ground the paint down to the primer.

Yeah, that's why it's got to fit right, even then there's usually issues but the bugs aren't very compatible with the finish either !

   Before I take a trip I spray down the front end with some of these quick shine products but leave it wet. The bugs come off with a light rinse. RainX the windshield also!

I wasn't aware they made bras for E-Bodies. I have to say that picking bugs out of the egg-crate grill of a 70 Challenger doesn't score real high on my fun meter.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who hates it.  Maybe there's market potential here huh? If reasonably priced you could probably sell a bunch of them!

 heheehee - yeah, and you could have a sideline selling radiators + hoses for guys whose cars got too hot cause the grille was covered....!

I've seen a couple home made "bug catchers" on some show cars, they of course remove them at the show. Basically they are made from the black nylon mesh for screen doors. This material is quite flexable and can be cut with sisors to fit. You can also sew a vinyl (sp) border around the outside edge, then the couple I've seen were held in place with velcro strips. But as far as the painted finishes, well a little elbow grease is all I know works. But at least the other idea will keep the lil buggers out of the grile and rad. Whats even worse is when they somehow manage to get to the fan blades and get slammed to the underside of your hood, it's like dried oatmeal to get off,
