« on: March 22, 2006 - 08:02:02 PM »
Have a 70 Challenger and I want to change the light bulbs on the front side marker lights. The wiring is fragle so did not want to pull too hard....I thought you just pulled the socket out from the backside right?

thanks, Stuart

You need to remove the entire bezel. Pull the turn signal wire connectors apart from the main wiring harness, then undo the 2 nuts on the back side of the bezel backing plate. That releases the whole unit from the fender. Pull the whole bezel  out, on the backside are 2 screws holding the plastic lens in place. Unscrew them, pop the lens, and you've got access to the light bulb. Kind of a pain, but that's how it is. If you do break the wiring that connects to the bezel, don't worry. Repops are available. Just saw some on e-bay for like $29.00 or so. Hope this helps!
