« on: May 18, 2006 - 08:02:44 AM »
Can somebody post what the correct air cleaner for a 73 340 cuda looks like.  Is it like the 70-71 that doesnt have a horn.

Thanks,

Matt

Whatsa TAC?  Is that thermal air control?

Wouldn't a '73 be orange with the air horn?  That's what my '72 Challenger's 340 engine looks like.

Here's an old pic, sorry for the mess.  This is a stock setup.

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

I know that's correct for 72 and I'm pretty sure 73 and 74.  I have one if you're looking for one.

Ok Matt.  For any one interested. I have an orange single snorkle and a black dual snorkle and I don't need either one anymore. PM me if you're interested

That photo is correct for 73. It was changed in 74 however. The horn for the year had a oval end.
