Thanks for all the replys. It was hard work but well worth it in the end. I always find that once something is organized and cleaned, it seems to stay that way, at least for me it does. I've had a lot of signs for sometime and finally got the chance to hang them. My wife works for a town so I told her to make some contacts in the Public Works dept. and get any old/used signs, lamps, fire hydrants and anythign else that might be interesting. If I don't want it, I can bring it to the dump myself. I still have to clean the workshop and install a door between the garage and work shop area, do some insulation and drywall, but I'm very pleased now.
The sign outside the garage isn't noticeable from the road as the garage faces my other garage. I believe I got the sign from Carlise last year. You can do a search on the web for it also.
I do have an alarm set-up, hooked to lights and of course a siren and it will call my cell phone also when it goes off. I just have to find a fridge of the right size and build a dust proof enclosure for my computer. I will have my wireless internet access in the garage plus I'll be able to play all my MP3's so I will never run out of inspiration.
My last thing is to mount the fiberglass hood on the wall, install some led lights behind it and wire up the taillights and do something with Road Runner headlight bezels. I'm thinking to paint a front end and set some type of lights in the bezel. I'll worry about that some day when I'm waiting for parts to come in and I have nothing else to do. For now though, it is back to working on the CARS!
Thanks again, you guys gave me the inspiration to get working again. Spring is comming!
