The engine itself are starting to show up in bone yards. You can pick a low miler up  between 2500-4500 dollars. The bad part is the engine management.Everyone I've talked to that used the Chysler electronics has been disappointed with the power it produces. They say it runs like a dodge ram pickup.A Fast engine management system is about 2700 which is probably the best way to go,but when you add that to the price of the engine it gets pretty expensive.I ran mine off GM LS1 computer and senors, but that is to time consuming[the engine has to be disassembled and a new reluctor made for the crank sensor and cam sensor] It will blow blow the tires off from a 30mph role, but it was still too labor intensive.I've had the hardest time scheduling some dyno time,I'll post the #'s  soon as one of these shops will strap it down
