Cuda interior coming together
« on: March 17, 2006 - 12:19:47 PM »
I got the new carpet, new floor mats, AM/FM thumbwheel radio, seats, and seatbelts put in my 70 project. I put down sound deadener under the carpet and reflex insulation to try to keep the heat down in the summer and make the ride a little more enjoyable. I'm hoping to have it on the road in mid April so I can figure out what other problems I will have to work out as this was a brought home in the back of a 26 foot truck restoration that was in boxes. The only problem I'm having right now is the headliner has wrinkles that I don't think will come out so I'm going to run it by the interior shop I deal with and see what he thinks. The wrinkles are on the sides between the bows and it almost looks like the headliner might not be made right. I'll keep everyone posted with pictures when it goes for it's first drive. I still have to get the front end aligned as I put everything in new and have only measured and set everything up front with a tape measure and a level.
