Restored my original rallies!!!
« on: March 24, 2006 - 11:45:59 PM »
Hey guys, just restored my rallies. The first two pics are obviously the before pics. I beadblasted them, painted the inside with a metallic engine paint (easier to clean off the brake dust) and painted the outside with the original argent silver. Some toothpaste and a toothbrush cleaned up the center caps and trim rings pretty nicely.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Nice job Oldred! That's the fun of this hobby, taking something that looks old and making it look new! Now if they only had some kind of sand blaster and new coating that would work on me. LOL Can't wait to see these on the car.
