Repaired 'new' reproduction panels - anyone else had this?
« on: April 02, 2006 - 06:46:55 AM »
Collected my new trunk lid from a dealer at a Chrysler show last weekend but didn't feel the need to check it before heading home.  So I opened it up yesterday to find the panel appears to have been damaged and repaired at some stage.  Wondering if anyone has seen this before?  Pics....

It looks as thought the panel was dropped and they used a body hammer to straighten it out. My replacement trunk lid had a dent in the top drivers corner, but I was able to bend mine back and conceal it.
