I saw all of these cars at BJ this weekend, the top banana and white top with 440 six pack Challenger convertible I was sure would go over 100k. The big suprise to me was the red 440 none matching numbers six pack Cuda. The car was nice, but I was not totally impressed with the restoration, I thought the car could be staighter. I was shocked it went for $118,800.
It was the only Cuda at the event.
The 73 Challenger that went for $63,720 was an incredible car, big block , 4 wheel dics, 18" and 19" wheels, full custom interior, and sound system. Flawless car.

not many non-R/T SEs got the performance hood, I wonder if it was added on later (im guilty of it).

Did anybody see the interview with Julius Steyer in Hemmings Muscle? He was quoted as saying that right now everybody wants a CUDA, especially 71's and 70's, and that Challengers are a comparative bargain right now. From those results, looks like customs/clones/recreations are continuing their strong showing at auctions.
