You'll never get any money from them. Maybe if you found them a hemi car, complete, in need of total resto and they picked it up for 10 grand, you might get a coupld grand. I agree, these people are looking for those cars behind sheds and in barns that have been out of sight. They're looking for the same finds we are, but realize that no one gives up there knowledgable treasures. They add a non-fixed incentive in hopes they are treated as a friend and tipped off about the V code 70 inside an old man's garage. They need to find four times the deals we find to get some return on the initial investment. If it's good enough for them to buy, we'd be better off flipping the car ourselfs. Money might as well go in the finders pocket. In other words, the finders fee will only be marginal (peanuts) to the money that could be made off the investment.
PS. when I say you and your, I mean whomever.
But, you never know! cheers
I'm going to continue, Any car on line or advertised - you will never see money for. It's too easy to say ‘we know’ or ‘we knew’. A legal battle would have to prove that they didn't – imposible. Again, hidden rare cars is what they want.
