New Tuff Steering Wheel from Flaming River
« on: March 31, 2006 - 11:09:24 PM »
I just received an order from ManciniRacing, and in their ad they had a new tuff steering wheel from Flaming River for 330 bucks. So I went to Flamingriver.com to see what I could find out and they do have a new wheel. If you order it from Flaming River its 390 bucks. Here is the link:

http://www.flamingriver.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=product/product_id=340/category_id=122/home_id=82/mode=prod/prd340.htm

The steering wheel is part number FR20161

I spoke w/ Grant before buying. You remove the old "grant" one on the billet steering wheel (5 hex screws) and replace center cap w/ the new one.
They also have a blue mopar M

Thanks for the heads up 72Hemi, I happened to see that while lusting over my Mancini Racing flyer they send once in a while.
If someone is looking for this tuff wheel, would this be good enough for show? Personally I am going with a Grant steering wheel myself but this is valuble information for anyone looking for one of these.

I have the same wheel and I still get mad when I am reminded that most people paid 35 bucks for it.  I got mine from Jim's Autoparts and they swore to me that this wheel was different from the Grant wheel.  I paid 100 bucks for it.   :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:  Just a reminder so nobody here gets ripped off like I did.

What the part # on that Grant?  Is that a factory horn button or does it come with the Grant wheel?

Actually I think this one is better as it goes into more detail about how to improve the out-of-the-box Grant wheel even further to make it look like a real Tuff wheel.
