anyone ever build a 383 and top it off with a six-pack?

sounds like it could be a wild lil combo :working:

There is a local guy that has a 69 Charger with a 383 6-pak. He said he bought a kit to do it and that it runs very well, especially when all 6 barrels open up

:jumping: Now you all got me thinking about pulling the intake on my 383 and droping a 6 pack setup on it. Just more Burning rubber  :droolingbounce: :clapping: :burnout:.

I would not think it could be as simple as and intake and carbs...would the engine set-up not need to be substantual .. just to run right?

kinda like a HP versus standard set-up?

I am not pro on the set-up stuff

They only show a 440 six-pack.  I am sure it would fit, but wonder if it is... tuned for a 440 and if there is that much difference...

440 is a raised block and your 383 is a low deck big block so a 440 intake will not mount to a 383.

Edelbrock does make a 6 pack intake for the low deck big blocks which are 361-383-400.  Raised blocks are 413-426-440 and a very very rare 383 that was available in the 50's.

However, I am assuming that this is a more common 60's and up 383...
