The Beast claims another victim
« on: May 06, 2006 - 02:46:58 PM »
So it's a pretty day here in Atlanta. I'm out and about and decide to drop in on a local fundraiser happening today that Oldschool told me about.  He and Rev & Redline had there rides parked out front to get the attention of passers-by.  (Boy did they!)

Anyway Pixie Duster was there as well, but disappeared for a bit.  Wouldn't you know it, the BEAST had eaten her and wasn't about to give her up.   I think Oldschool must have threatened to drive the Beast in the rain if she didn't let her go.  It was a close call, but crisis averted. :misbehaving:

:roflsmiley:  In the belly of the beast!!  So Oldschool says "Pixie I've got a job for you".  When the body shop put the glass in, there was a couple of messy streaks on the inside of the glass.  If you've seen pics of the inside of the beast, it's near impossible to get into the back.  Pixie "Gumby'd" her way to clean it up.

Boy that was a close one! I guess the secret is now out:  The Beast not only runs on pump gas, but the secret fuel that produces all that power is Pixie Power!   :burnout:  Unfortunately, the Beast was caught on camera getting re-fueled with Pixie Power.   :picture:  To the relief of all, we were able to save this particular Pixie before any lasting harm was done....    :roflsmiley:   :roflsmiley:      :cooldancing:  ...   Oldschool

Seriously,
It runs on pump gas??? I'm barely getting by with 93 octane.  :P I have to have slightly retarded timing to pull off the "no ping" thing.   :walkaway:

Mike,

Yep, it's a pump gas engine all the way.   3 things help it run on pump gas.
1)  10.5 compression
2)  Hemi combustion chambers
3)  Aluminum heads
All I ever put in her is 93 octane pump gas.  It never has pinged or knocked.  The "Be-Cool" cooling system keeps the heat under control and that also helps out.  It never gets above 190*      Oldschool
