(I hope this is the right forum to ask in, if not, please move the thread as needed).
I'm getting a 1970 Cuda that is set up as a race car. I don't have it yet, it will ship soon. The guy said it was an original v-code 440 6-pack. I find that hard to believe, but of course that'd be great, but I'm ok with it, whatever it was, I just want to know. The dash is gone for racing. I'm assuming the VIN from the dash is gone as well, but will hope it's there somewhere, or at least on the title and correct. I'm pretty sure the fender tag is gone, since it's a fiberglass front end and the engine bay is highly modified, such as no inner fenders.
Question:
If I get the VIN, say from the title, is it possible to research the car's origin, and get a new VIN to put on the dash (which I'll pull from my other Cuda), and new fender tag? Thanks.
