Dash trim pieces

   I need to know whether or not the plastic trim pieces are available for a '73 dash. I was disassembling my dash to install the new pad and most of the plastic trim pieces are just falling apart as I unscrew them. I surely need the parts and don't know if they can be bought as repops or if I have to try them as used.   I really hate trying to work on 33 year old plastic pieces.............   So far my record is a losing one as most every piece has broken to some degree.

When I got my car alot of the dash pcs. were either missing or broke, what ever I could'nt find new I just went to e-bay and got them. I bought a can of SEM Texture Coating and shot them. Stuff works great

Those pieces are fairly common on E-bay.

If you buy pieces off of Ebay, then you are still working on 33 year old pieces.  There was a guy at the Nationals selling some 2 part instant hardening stuff to repair grills and plastic. I didn't get his card but that stuff could repair the mounts on all of your plastic trim pieces.  It hardened rock hard in 5  seconds after adding the powdered 2nd chemical.
Anyone here have his number?

I was missing the two lower dash end pieces and found two very nice ones on eBay a couple years ago.  I believe I bought one through the seller b571fish or classicmusclecarparts01 and was extremely impressed with the quality of an original part.  Unlike some eBay sellers who use a photo of their best item, he actually listed the exact item I was bidding on.   The two end pieces will probably cost you around $50-$80 for the pair.  Are there any other items you will need?  Anything else on the dash is relatively easy to obtain, unless you're in need of a/c vents.

Thanks for the heads up Street_Challenged. I've been looking, but hadn't seen these. Don't know how I missed them, but I did........
