2 1/2 years later... was it worth the wait?

Looking back now, I'm sure all your antagonizing about having to tear down the car seems small and trivial. And looking at the prices for 71 Cudas between now and then... it was a very sensible investment.

The car looks great!

Thanks for the compliment and interesting question.  Worth the wait, absolutely.  I have definately gotten more patient as I got older.  Wanted the project to stay fun and not rush it into being work.  I have 2 young daughters that get my time before the cars do.  The planning/searching/working on of a project is as much fun as the finished project.  Fortunately I have some other cars that I could drive while working on this one.  I am sure that "helped" with my patience.  And yes 71 Cudas just continue to go nuts, to find a rust free barracuda to start with anymore is hard, to be able to start with a bs tx9 car not needing paint was huge.

My god that's a beautiful Cuda, soory so late but just got back from our trip to Springfield, MO., That car dosn't need billboards, but I'd vote for going to someone with a vinyl cutter and have a set of custom silver one's made. Personally white would be too much of a contrast. The red hockey strip on Larry's looks sweet but that is much smaller than a billboard so that would be a lot of contrast too? But silver and black may work? But if she were mine I'd probably leave her as she is. Buddy ya got one sweet Cuda there, you've invested a lot, not have a lot of fun  :burnout:
