Welcome Ozdrums!

Beautiful car!  Love the color and engine/tranny combo!  Definately hard to find a New England car around here that isn't all rusted out.  Where did you get the car from if you don't mind me asking?

I'm in Belmont, MA.  My brother has a house in Lynn.  I used to frequent the Building 19 on is it the Lynnway?  They had Cragar S/S rims in there in the 80's!  Headers and louvers too!  Used to hang out at Kelly's after work a long time ago.  I went to TAD Tech (Used to be ITT Tech, in Chelsea.) back in '89.

Great to see another New England Mopar here!

Nice looking Challenger and the color combination is nice. Looks like it turned out great and I think the attention to detail on the underside is often over looked.

Hi Super Blue 22,
The car came from Northwood NH. The only thing that saved this car is that it was always in a heated barn when he stopped driving it about 5 years before I bought it. He threw in a set of NOS exhaust tips that were sitting on the shelf behind the car. As he used a set, he bought a set in advance. Building 19 7/8 is still on the Lynnway but the days of Crager mags & headers are long gone. Kelly's on revere beach is still alive & still a hang out during the warm summer months. They opened 2 other sites. 1 in Saugus & 1 in Danvers. I'm familiar with ITT Tech, but went to Franklin Institute in Boston.
Thanks for the kind words. Best of luck
Greg

Hey, my car was from NH also.  Bought at MacKensie Motors in Manchester, NH, which is now Bonneville Ford.  I actually talked to Doug MacKensie who owned the dealership because I was looking for a license plate to put on my car.  The guy I bought it from had it in a barn too, with 3 race Mustangs up in I think Suncook, NH?  Near Geoffstown, that's where I met the original owner who bought the car 4 days after coming out of the Army in 1971.

See ya at Kelly's maybe one day!  Take care!
