    Best Intake Gasket Set For A 340????

    I am going to take my stock intake off my 340 in the near future just to clean it up....repaint it and put in back on. My question is from your good and /or bad experiences what gasket set is the best to use  or stay away from???  I don't mind spending the $$$$ for something that is not going to cause me problems down the road.

    Prep is more important than brand. I have had no problems with MoPar gaskets or Fel-Pro, Detroit, Mr. Gasket, etc...

    Do all makes of Intake Gaskets come in the 4 pieces???

    All of the ones I've ever used have been 4 peice. Also had good luck with Fel-Pro gaskets. I would use one with the heat crossover in the intake blocked. Keeps the heat off the carb.

    the plastic bushings that are included in the kit position the gasket , the fit into the second bolt hole from each end to hold the gasket in place as the intake is installed
     I use Fel Pro
