Got New Toys
« on: April 22, 2006 - 12:44:21 PM »
Finally received my new headers after 4 weeks but well worth the wait. Decided to go with the Milodon low profile 7 quart pan instead of the Hemi 6 qt pan.

The whole thing looks great, not just the headers.  I had one of those pans Swedefish,  I was scraping speed bumps with it. I had to get a moroso 7-Quart, then cut off the sump, shortened it and inch, then welded it back together.  It ended up being a hemi-6 qt. pan (the hard way).
Please take a pic of your pan below the k-member after it's installed for us.

Thanks Lenny, the engine is going in but may not be till next weekend, want to be able to run it occasionally while I finish the rest of the car.

Hopefully it will be high enough that it won't be trying to make a hemi pan out of it again. It'll be higher than stock, will still need to be careful on those speed bumps and dips though.

Looks awesome Plum....

Thanks, it will be even more awesome when I can hear it run through those headers! Think maybe those headers can flow just a little bit of exhaust?  :grinyes:

Thanks 4C, you've probably already posted pics but please put the link or new pics, lets see that baby!

Thanks Rich, good to see you, anything happening on your project? Anxious to start seeing updates once in a while on the Right Place thread.

Thanks Evil72, those valve covers are same as the heads, Brodix. All that polished aluminum will keep me busy I'm sure.  :grinyes:
