Bumpers
« on: April 24, 2006 - 07:50:30 PM »
I have a '73 Barracuda, which has the vertical chrome bumper pieces, with rubber pads, attached to the front and rear bumpers. Don't know what they are actually called, maybe bumperettes?. I need to know if these are side specific, in other words, one specificallyleft and one specifically right. My car has two, but one looks like it is cocked slightly so I'm thinking I have 2 rights. If I have to look for one on the internet, I need to know what to look for by name as well. Also, if anyone has one for the left side, I'd be interested.  Thanks

They are called bumper guards by most.  Their part numbers usually indicate if they are left and right.  I'll have a look at a few I've got and see.

There are slight differences between each side. If both look the same, then you probably have 2 rights, or 2 lefts.
