I'm not sure where to post this, but the classics didn't have a place for a new topic. My Question is, how long has car of the month been in existence? Is Rev & Redlines car the 1st Car of the month?? It seems like I have seen others before that. Dave

another semi-related question. How do you get in the running? Is there a member vote or?

The car of the month started in January 05 and Ross (our admin 69chargerRT) was the car of the month while he was perfecting our home page.  I have a list of who had the honor for the other months but I don't have the info or pics.  It was my idea to track the car of the month as in the years to come, it will be a great thread!  After the last server changeover, I decided to start the thread for everyone to enjoy! 

To get a chance at that honor, just submit your pics to one of the admin with some details and maybe you can be on the home page too!

Dave - Yip, it has been running longer than what our achieves have accumulated.
I think there's about several cars that were on before Rev and Redlines.


Goody - I think at this stage Ross and the Moderators basically pick the car of the month.
If not that, people can send in their car (PM or Email Ross) with details etc and he'll put it up basically.

Yeah Carl, I'm sure I saw Aprils Pink cuda a year ago for April. Would be real nice to have every car of the month in order since its inception.  Dave

Yep, we have about 1/2 a year unaccounted for.  As far as getting to be car of the month, you can send a nice pic and short write up about your car to me or Ross.
