Sorry to hear about your misfortune. It's stories like that which make me leave the U code Cuda home more and drive the BB Duster

so you think this was done accidently with another car or on purpose with some handheld object?
Where was it parked? Surveillance cameras are everywhere in public parking lots these days......

Id say it was hit with another vehicle. be it a trailer, off road bumper...something like a jeep square rear bumper would leave a mark similar. No surveillance cameras in the lot at work (restaurant)

I actually watched a guy back into my car in the parking lot in front of the shop I worked at, I'm like "he does see my car right?" and again "he's not going to...." %#$^%^*@#$%^!!!!!!", but I stopped him and got his insurance to cover the cost of my passenger side fender, which I kept and luckily I had a spare. but he crushed it pretty bad. I also rear ended my buddy's mustang a long time ago and it took out my grille - try getting a 70 grille now...at least bumpers are somewhat inexpensive. Glad this is all that happened to your car....could have been much worse

That certainly sux for sure.   But when you drive em, (and you should), stuff like that happens.  I'm glad it wasn't any worse than it was....     :cooldancing:

I agree, could have been worse. I however feel for you Goody, it still stinks to either have to replace a once quality original part with a repo or costly used part.

Some people, clueless.

Goody,

Was the bumper a used one or did you buy a repo?

If repo, is it as good as the original? If so, where did you buy it from?

Bought it from year one. I cant compare it to the original because its chewed up good in the center. and i cant compare the fit to the old one because my brackets are bent to  :villagers:
