Fiberglass Hoods
« on: May 19, 2006 - 05:46:53 AM »
Has anyone ever used anything from this place?

The link is specific for the application I need but they have a lot of other things too. I'm considering the bolt on 6Pak hood for my 70 Satellite. Just curious if anyone has had any experience with this place. Thanks

I bought a bolt on 6 pack hood for my cuda, the quality seemd to be real good, very solid.  Under the hood is not finished smooth, but that didn't matter as it will be covered with heat matting.  It had a few small air pockets in the surface, but they were easily fixed with spot putty.

I have had decent experience with US Body Source.  You may have to do some work to make the product perfect; but in general what I have seen and used has been pretty good.

Thanks for the feedback guys, they are the only ones I could find that make the 6pak hood for a 70 B body. Good to hear you've had some good experiences with them. Any pictures? If you or anyone else knows of other good suppliers, please let me know. Thanks!

Here are a few pic of the hood before and after.  Like was said before very minor imperfections in the surface may have to be fixed.
