How do you remove the right angle oil filter adapter on a small block?

ONE BIG BOLT RIGHT IN THE CENTER. YOU WILL NEED NEW GASKETS TO PUT BACK ON. I HAD A LOT OF LEAKS TILL I REPLACED WITH OE GASKETS, DOUBT IF THEY ARE AVAIL. FROM DC ANYMORE.  :eek4:

would it be easier just to not use it at all and go straight to the block.

you would need the factory adaptor plate off another small block & depending on the exhaust you have you may not have clearance for the oil filter without the adapter

I bought the gaskets from Mancini Racing.  I can't remember if they were MP parts or not.
