73 cuda, 440
« on: November 17, 2005 - 10:59:02 AM »
Considering offers on my 73'. its a 440, 355 posi, auto, rally cluster, many engine modifications, headers, true dual exhaust, frame connectors, driveshaft loop, rear battery w/switch, adjustable drag shocks, ect... Body is in good shape, a couple small holes in the drivers floor, bubbling under the rear window and here and there.

not 100% hot to sell it, but I figured I'd leave it up to offers and see what happens.
Just to give you an idea, I've turned down offers in the low teens.
Only trades I would consider would be ferrari, lotus, or a cuda convertible.

$16k
car is currently stuck in second gear. still runs and drives but I can't get it out of 2nd. I do have a spare transmission that will come with it, but me thinks it's probably something simple. All the pics are thumbnails so click to make them big. Since the pictures I've relocated all the wiring and "computers" throught the fenders and under the dash. Car is very solid just needs details such as wiring the tach.

:villagers: car was sold but buyer didn't have the $$ he told me he did. Thought he could get a loan, but nope. Told me at the very very LAST minute, after i've already turned down 2 other guys.
I'm considering offers, cash and trades, but please don't lie to me.

never tracked it or dynoed it.
With all the modifications I'd be surprised if it wasn't pushing at least 450, but that's just a guestimate really.

If this car is still available I would like some more info if you don't mind. A few more specs and a little more history if you can. Also if you can send some pics of the motor and some more of the interior i would appreciate it. Thanks, Danny

yes its still available. you'll have to be a little more specific on what you'd like to know.  I've owned the car for about a year and a half, drove it for about 2000 miles maybe. There's about 60 pictures on the site listed above, including the motor and interior, is there something specific you'd like a pciture of?

Good luck, but you really kicked yourself in the face by labeling it a "Parts Car" which it is not. Just because the trans is down does not make it a parts car, even if you had no engine it still wouldn't be a parts car.

Parts cars are when the car is unsavable, missing the entire rear end or cut in half with bits and pieces left.
When you're picking for parts on the car, that's a parts car.

You may want to change that in your auction, just note that the trans needs repair.
At present you've probably cut down your price by at least 50%, no crap.....

Sorry to hear about your issue with the buyer. Only wish I had the money and lived closer. :hyper:

replaced tranny so it runs and drives. Working on a vibration issue though, maybe a mount.

Turned out to just be the tranny mount, has been fixed. ANOTHER buyer jerked me around and it is up for sale yet again :faint:
