Bulkhead Nuts
« on: May 15, 2006 - 07:17:20 PM »
Does anyone know what kind of nuts hold the bulkhead connector to the firewall?  It seems to be some kind of unusual coarse thread.  One of the many frustrations when you buy a car in boxes!

If your talking about the one nut on the engine side of the firewall which does have very course threads it looks just like the fender nuts with a washer made onto it maybe one size smaller.  :bigshades:

It's the 2 nuts that hold the bullkhead connector to the firewall.

I think I've answered my own question here after talking to my Mopar buddy.  Apparently the screws go in from the engine compartment side into the block and not the other way so there are no nuts.
