One of my books listed the following for 1970:

The chrome plated "non-remote" mirror part number is 2999553 was standard
The optional chrome racing mirror part number is 2999549 (included remote)
and body color racing mirror was part number is 3548053 (included remote)

matching passenger side manually adjusted mirror was available as an option.
Pass. chrome mirror part number is 3508989
Pass. body colored mirror part number is 3508990

I hope this helps.

On my 70 cuda miror base (RH) the numbers are "152453", "68488", "C 70", & "3454096"
I believe these are for the base only. I'm not sure abou the mirror head having a separate number. I'll try to check.

Inside the mirror cavity is "PT 3454034", "14-2452". Also the mirror pivots on a single ball pivot post and can not be  removed by 2 screws behind the mirror glass like others I have seen. The number etched on the glass is "4-DMI-0"
