Put it in the autotrader / collectorcartraderonline.com     $50 and the ad runs forever as long as you renew it every 3 weeks with a quick phone call.   A lot more people will see it.

What car???? I just see an avator.  :roflsmiley:

Seems priced right to me.  Give it a little more time.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Seems priced right to me considering what the later 72-74 Challengers are going for now.

I think it is a great deal, but alot of guys are looking for 70-71 challengers with big blocks. Seems taht some people think 318's are not worthy, not me I have a 70-318

As someone who has been looking for a 72-74 Rallye Challenger for almost a year now, it's a tad bit high, IMHO. I am looking at one near me, very similar shape to yours except older paint, for $4500. I am going to offer $3500, but I will pay $4500. I apprenticed as a mechanic, and worked in a body shop, and I know how much it costs to restore a car. It's not cheap. I am also good with money and have never overspent on the 40+ Mopars I have owned. Your car is a nice driver, definately not a basket case, but needs a bit of work. Realistically, you should get between $5000-$7500. I have watched your ad, and you had it on Ebay(?) too. Hopefully, you have room to bring the price down and it will sell! There's 2 cents worth....

I appreciate the input from everyone!, but around here on the east coast, rot buckets are bringing 5k.  For someone not to have to replace frame rails, trunks, floor pans, seats and dash pads, gauges etc, and track down all the hard to find parts like rallye dash, a/c parts, mirrors and trim. i believe it is worth my asking price.
I think im just going to hold onto it. no need to give it away. Might even fix the floor pan and 2 small spots in the trunk. Thanks again everyone!

Like I stated before, your price is more than fair.  The car I got, the motor is shot, I later found the body work is crappy and the repaint was half a$$ed.  I won't say what I spent, but damn it, I would have held out for your car for sure.  East coast pricing, I think yours is spot on.
Probably the crazy gas market and uncertain future has people a bit tight with money.  Some people are goingto be waiting with money inhand to scoop up deals like this when the economy really takes a turn and people are selling just to pay their mortgage.
I'm saving up, someone is going to be dumping their hemi convert that was $90k now for $10k in the future, and I'll be there of course I'll also be waking up too :grinyes:

Congrats Nick!  That car is very nice and you shouldn't have had any problems getting a buyer for it.  Be sure to refer the buyer to this site so we can watch the transformation to a Hemi street brawler!!! :grinyes:
