Emblem removal help

I need to put new emblems on the trunk of my 70 Challenger......CHALLENGER    RT ones....the new ones stick on so I assume the old ones do too......what is the best way to remove the old ones?

What he said, plus you might want to get a small plastic bodyfiller spreader so you can get under the emblem for some leverage when you first start. Floss works too, but it breaks too often.

a 1" putty knife with the leading edge sharpened works great with
SOME CARE !!! or If you like spending money,, 3M makes a emblem/ sidemoulding removal tool that you use with a air chisel. After the
emblem is removed be certain to remove ALL old adheasive residue
before attempting to install your new emblems.

Home depot, 1" plastic scraper, in the paint dept, they're a white poly plastic, very forgiving and not knife edge sharp, by Hyde Mfg (maker of all good drywall tools). Equivalent of much more expensive body shop tools for about $1.
As above recommendation, heat gun or hair dryer, and PATIENCE. You can try to soften the adhesive with a little rubbing alcohol first, but the heat is what will release the bond (no fires pls).
