The story on this car is that it is 318 car, automatic on the floor, standard gauge, drum brake, non-a/c car. It is an original powder blue car, white stripe, white vinyl top, blue interior.
My brother and I bought a 73 340 column shift cuda with a 383 two barrel in it to for $600 in 1990. Later, I bought the powder blue car for $875 and drove it home. The cars pretty much sat until I got out of college in 1992. In 1992 my brother and I picked up a 73 triple black parts car locally (total rust bucket). The plan was to have a friend of my brothers restore our 73 340 car and use the triple black car for parts. After starting in on the 73 340 car, it was determined that it had too many problems so that project was ended and I bought my brother out of the two 73 cars and the friend started in on the powder blue car in 1993. After 5 years of getting nowhere with the car, I ended up bringing it home sans build sheet, fender tag, orginal motor, original trans and a bunch parts from the 73 340 column shift car.
I finally started in on the 74 in 2006 and I'm using the disc brakes, sway bars, from the 73 340 car along with other parts from the triple black 73 parts car. Items replaced include both fenders, one door, both rocker panels (with used ones, not repos), a used tail panel from another car, AMD quarters, trunk extension, outer wheel housings (trunk floor is original), weld in frame connects and torque boxes. I added the wheel moldings, rocker moldings, and rear cuda trim to the 74. The 74 will run with a 360 six pack when completed.
I'll post additional pictures as soon as I can get some good ones (unless you want to see pictures of it on the rotisserie.
