Correct 72 Cuda Buckets?

So I buy this 72 Cuda that sat around for a while.  It had these Buckets in pic-seats1, with a plastic back.  I have a friend giving me his 72 Cuda seats, in pic seats2, vinyl backs, different latch.  The seat patterns match.  Did both sets come in '72s?

What he said. To be sure check the springs on the base. The 72 base should have more springs in a different layout then the 73-74 seat.
