I believe this guy is slightly over charging on some mufflers. What do you guys think?

Let's see. Two NOS mufflers or a good used car. Tough choice.
This is the same guy who wants $5k for NOS taillights.
I want some of whatever he's on!

The reason these are so expensive is cause these are for 73-74 Hemi Cuda's, the mufflers are date coded 6-73 and 8-73, must have been made for that ellusive 73 Hemi Cuda convertible that the installer accidently installed slant 6 mufflers on, makes the 73 Hemi worth more too. (that is, once it's found)

so whats the theory on those things anyways?
My car has 'em after the puny mufflers so they ain't mufflers...are they resonators?
My car sounds good standing behind it at idle, but I'm not impressed with the tone while driving it.

Yeah that guy has been smoking crack for a long time.....he's had his crazy auctions going on and off for a couple of months and it never sells. I bet he's spent more on listing fees than he has made off what hes sold.

If you look at the guys other auctions, you can tell he must have suffered some severe "drain bamage."

He suffered brain damage but so as some of his buyers. A lot of his stuff sells for $99.99, wow magic price. SOme spent $100 for 35+ year old rubber strut rod bushings. That is stupid. Some people just use ebay as their shopping store, I guess if I had more money than brains I would too.

I think I met this guy today at the swap meet in the Goodguy's show in Jacksonville. He was trying to sell a 73 Cuda with a crapped out interior, bondo'd everything and an orange-peel, satin-finished sublime paint-job for $34,900. He thought that the grease covered 440 with the rusted aftermarket valve covers and 22" radiator was worth $10k alone. It was funny to see every person who found out the asking price simply chuckle and walk away, especially since there was a restored 68 Roadrunner with a 383 going for $24,000 not 100 feet away!
