Rear Sway Bar End Link Question
« on: June 01, 2006 - 09:09:01 AM »
When I had the rear sway bar pulled from a donor car nigh onto 20 years ago, I noticed that the end links were curved, and never gave it a second thought. Now I see that the junkyard guys in their wisdom torched through one of the endlinks. My question is, is the curve in the end link factory original, or was it "induced" by the 3.55 posi? Also, if the curve is original then I'm assuming that I need to have curved end-links; is anyone re-proing these?

:iagree:  New end links for rear available but not exact reproductions. I bought some Energy Suspension links by size, although they were not listed for the '73 Chally. They also had poly bushings. again I had to order by size. I'll dig up the part #s if you want.

Thanks, all. Bullitt, if you come across those part numbers that would be helpful. No rush; I'm a couple of months away from the axle job.

Secondary questions, which I think is even more important: I came across something that seemed to say there was reinforcement welded to the frame rails where the sway bar mounted. Is this correct?
