For you fabricators
« on: June 07, 2006 - 08:16:42 AM »
Well I thought I would share my little tip with you fabricators on the board.  I'm sure some of you already knew this but others may not.  I was at my local Ocean State Job Lot (discount store like a dollar store but with higher prices) and ran across plastic patio chair covers.  While studying the picture and looking at the dims I found one that would cover my welder and plasma cover just fine.  I figured it was time to get rid of the old blanket and trash bag routine so I picked 2 up at $3.99 each. A lot chepaer than what Miller sells covers for and when they get trashed, another $4 and a new one.
They do come in many sizes so it would be good to have an idea of how big your set-up is before shopping.  The elastic band also keeps it nice and snug.  :bananasmi

My plasma cart is higher than the welder, but it still fits nice.

I have a low cart fo the welder and the cover tucks nicely over the wheels.
