ADUC
« on: June 12, 2006 - 07:40:20 PM »
I was approached a while back by a company and sold them a division of my company. During conversations of what they wanted and didn't, they determined they wanted the Company name, so for a price they got it. I had to come up with a new name for the corporation. Being a Mopar guy I called it ADUC Inc. My attorney said "A duck", what they he!! is a "ADUC"? Here is a picture of our shirts. Our customers love it! Look at it in a mirror. I don't know if this is the right area to post but then I've never been right either.

So what does your company do or make??  And the company that just wanted the name . . interesting . .  :clueless:  Wonder what the doing rate for a commercial name is these days?  :dunno:

I probably would of sold it too!  My company name is bienco . . . as in "good co."  Couldn't think of anything else.  lol

The part of the company I sold was the distribution for stainless steel materials. We sold SS pumps, valves, tubing to companies like Campbell Soup, Hunt Wesson and others. My competitor tried for years get into our customers but our relationships kept them out. My new company, ADUC INC. retaines my patents for welding high purity SS and I still do fabrication. It has much higher profit margins.
The distribution game has changed so much. All of my manufactures use to be USA owned but today most of the parts come from China and are out of spec. Junk!
