please dont hold me to it but i heard from an insider that the fenders were trial fit and it wasnt up to snuff.and that they were gonna try again.I was told that we would be lucky to see them by summertime.personally I hope that they take the time to get them right.

Hi Guys,

New to the forums!

I'm a sheetmetal shaper by trade. I'm always looking to expand my services and found this site while searching for a Cuda forum. While wasting time on ebay, I found that there are a few original fenders for sale that are in need of reconditioning. I had assumed that there were already aftermarket replacements available and that was what you guys were using. Aftermarket parts, in my experience never fit properly. Reconditioned original fenders would fit properly while retaining your cars value. This is a service that I could provide if you folks are interested.

If there are other parts needed, I would also look into adding those to my product line. I currently fabricate a full line of replacement sheetmetal panels for '33-'36 Willys Coupes and '37-'42 Willys coupe, sedan and pickup. I also do all types of custom sheetmetal shaping. If I can be of service, or even answer any questions you may have regarding sheetmetal repair, please let me know.

My website is currently down for improvements, but you can view my work here:

Thanks,
Randy Ferguson

I think that Tropicalcats (Richard) has a pair,,, believe me, when you find them without major rot,,, you better grab 'em. Even if it means a road trip.  :2cents:
