Florida License Plate Trivia
« on: June 17, 2006 - 09:47:27 PM »
I have a original 1970 license tag on my car.  A guy at gas station asked what county the tag was for?  I had no idea the early tags were coded.

I found the following info, probably only interesting to other Floridans.

I don't find this surprising. Although I don't live there I do have property there and have often remarked how many different plates you have!    :faint: You got the market share of anywhere I've been!

Ohio has had the county code numbers for a few years too,........what actually is the idea behind this? You coud move and maintan your license plate and only get the new experation tag, so why the county tag as well?
